Batala Manchester is beyond excited to be hosting the 5th Anglophones Meetup, bringing together all 10 Batala bands from across the UK for an unforgettable weekend celebration of community, culture, and rhythm in our home city.

Expect a LOT of drumming (of course!), the thunderous sound of surdos echoing through the streets, and the electric energy that only happens when the Batala family comes together.

 

Alongside the music, you’ll discover amazing places to eat and drink, legendary parties, a few special surprises, and plenty of time to connect, laugh, and celebrate with friends old and new.

​We’ll be soaking up the sights and sounds of Manchester, sharing rhythms, stories, and good vibes all weekend long – with a possible public gig on the Sunday to round things off in true Batala style.
