Batala Manchester is hosting a special workshop with Stavros of Batala Atenas - by invitation only

A 5 hour rhythm and culture workshop where Stavros will teach us more about the cultural & historical roots of the music that we play in Batala, specifically the significance of the various rhythms and the associated movements that form bloco cohesion and energy.

Priority for workshop space will be given to Batala Manchester members and Musical directors and callers from other UK bands, with spare player allocation at the discretion of attending musical directors, subject to individual benefit.
