Try a 90 minute taster session and feel the Brazilian grooves! Book one of two available sessions: Saturday 13th April 1-3pm (active session time 90 minutes 1.15pm-2.45pm with a break) Saturday 13th April 3-5pm (active session time 90 minutes 3.15pm-4.45pm with a break) Sessions will be held at Chorlton high School South (451 Mauldeth Rd W, Manchester M21 7SX). Please arrive on time for your booking (1pm or 3pm) Join us for a fun session where you can learn to play and move like a samba reggae drummer, playing the sounds of Bahia on one of four instruments. Find out more about signing up for our Tuesday evening 8 session beginners course in late spring where you can learn more Batala rhythms and really test your abilities with a view to joining the main band for local, national and even international performances. Full instruction and all drums and kit will be provided - please bring your own earplugs or purchase on the day at a cost of £2.
Cancellation Policy
Payment to be made online in full. If bookings exceed the limited number of available spaces your session may be cancelled or rescheduled by us. If your session is cancelled by us you will receive a full refund. You can cancel or reschedule your session yourself up to 48 hours before the event time subject to availability. Cancellations or rescheduling after this time will not be possible. Booking must show name and details of the person attending for admission. One ticket per booking. You may not transfer your booking to another person. Refunds not possible for those who do not attend.
